Yurko misses his father, taken away by the war. His heart has become like a black hole, and the world around him — a cold, endless cosmos. But one day, an Astronaut appears in his closet. He offers a journey that will help find light even in the deepest darkness.
This book is for those who have lost. And for those who don’t know how to support someone who has. It is about grief that can be lived through, love that never disappears, and the light that remains within forever. The author has written this story with great care and sensitivity. Reading it feels as if someone is holding you gently, yet firmly, in an embrace.
“CosmoDad” is a journey that helps you not lose yourself in the dark.
Did you ever have a childhood dream? Who did you want to become, and what did you want to do? Back when money had no weight, when you didn’t care about social status, or any of those countless “important” adult things. We had such a dream too. WHAT? We call ourselves a Story Workshop, not just a publishing house, because we aim for more than simply printing books. In the future, we want to share stories in many forms — audiobooks, podcasts, films, and animations. But books are where it all begins. WHY? We also call ourselves farmers. Only we don’t sow ordinary seeds into the soil — we sow the seeds of our society’s future, of our country, and of the whole world. We believe that every story told can change the world. That’s why we choose the ones that inspire and ignite hearts. FOR WHOM? Obviously, our main audience is children. From those whose parents read them bedtime stories, to adults who still love magical tales. But beyond that, our workshop’s audience also includes: parents teachers and educators librarians lovers of fantasy and science fiction fans of Ukrainian mythology, culture, and literature admirers of beautifully designed books
