Being a volunteer in Ukraine with a Polish passport: pros, cons, pitfalls

Now, in Ukraine, in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war, it is not only the governments of Western countries that are helping, providing military, humanitarian and financial assistance. When the full-scale invasion began, thousands of people from all over the world joined the existing ones and began to create their own volunteer initiatives. Some help civilians, some help the military, and still others help animals. At the same time, according to the Center for Democracy and the Rule of Law, 72.4% of foreign volunteers and legionnaires in Ukraine consider the registration of documents to be the most acute problem.
