"Ways of Seeing" is one of the most widely read modern texts about art. It was written by British art critic John Berger who is based on the BBC series of the same name. The book was published in 1972 by Penguin Books. With the invited speakers, we will focus on the content of the publication and talk about how relevant this book is to the Ukrainian context, how Berger's ideas relate to the state of visual art today, how they develop and what they are criticized for.
