A decade of war is changing the attitude towards the usual words and phenomena. The word “veteran” from before was describing an older man with WW2 experience. Today, a 25-year-old woman can be a veteran. The war enters the mass culture with words, songs, mems. How do these new meanings change? How does war influence the mass culture?
