Myroslav Shkandrij is a Professor Emeritus of the University of Manitoba, where he taught Slavic studies. He has also taught at the universities of Calgary, Ottawa and Columbia.His research has focused on aspects of Ukraine’s cultural and intellectual history, including relations with Russia, Jews in Ukrainian literature, avant-garde art,nationalism, responses to the Second World War, and the current decolonizationDebate.
