Ukrainian scientist-folklorist, ethnographer, literary critic, writer, journalist, teacher, public figure, publisher. Head of the Folklore Department of the MT Rylsky Institute of Folklore Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2003-2016), now a leading researcher at the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Folklore. Founder of the series "Treasures of Ukrainian folklore".
