On 27 February 2018 the Ukrainian Parliament adopted an appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to create an Ministry for Veterans' Affairs "to ensure the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of social protection of war veterans."[1] The appeal proposed to the Government to establish a Ministry for Veterans' Affairs on the basis of the State Service for War Veterans and Participants of the Anti-Terrorist Operation.
