To be near / to be together? What will happen to our European boat?

Today, some are already saying that a “black hole” is forming in the middle of the European continent: the former greatest enthusiasts of the European idea, the new EU members – Poland, Slovakia, Hungary – are gradually turning into fierce Eurosceptics who see neither themselves in a united Europe nor the prospects of such a Europe at all. Is Europe really in such a “hole”? At the same time, for Ukraine, the European idea looks like the only saving scenario for the future. How can we be close? Or maybe, after all, be together? We can’t wait, we need to speak and find the right words now.
